CareerAligns Terms and Conditions govern your participation in our programmes, courses, services, and/or use of our website (the “services”). By enrolling in our course or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not proceed with the registration or use our Services.
Definitions
- “Student”, “you”, “your”- The individual joining or using our Services.
- “Course”- Any professional coaching programme, class, workshop, online module, certificate, or other educational offering by us.
- “Materials”: All content we provide, including lectures, notes, handouts, videos, online modules, and assessments.
- “Website”: Our online portal, platform, or official site via which you access Services.
Admission & Eligibility
- All students should pass our eligibility criteria. It includes educational qualifications, identity, and other necessary factors.
- By using our services, you confirm that the details you provided is complete, correct, and updated.
- We have the right to decline or cancel admission if we find out that you are not eligible. We also decline or cancel admission if the data provided by you is incomplete or wrong.
Fees, Payment, & Refunds
- Course fees and any related charges (registration, materials, exams) should be paid by you as per the schedule communicated.
- Once payment is made and enrolment confirmed, fees are non-refundable.
- We may charge fees for future batches, module fees, or resource charges. These changes are not applicable to students who have already joined, unless stated otherwise.
- If you pay via online payment gateway, card/net-banking, you accept that payment processing may be subject to third-party terms and delays. We are not responsible for payment failures caused by banks or payment processors.
Course Delivery & Content Changes
- We will endeavour to deliver the Course as mentioned in our brochure/prospectus.
- We reserve the right to make necessary changes to the Course structure, schedule, session formats, faculty, venue, syllabus, & materials. This is with respect to the requirement by operational, regulatory, or academic reasons.
- We will inform you of significant changes, but you acknowledge that some minor changes may not be individually notified.
Use of Materials & Intellectual Property
- All materials are the intellectual property of CareerAligns or its licensors, and are secured by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
- You may view, download, or print Materials solely for your personal, non-commercial, academic use in the Course.
- You may not change, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, commercially exploit, etc. use the Materials without our prior written consent.
- Any unauthorized use of the Materials may automatically terminate your access and/or enrolment.
Student Conduct & Responsibilities
- You agree to attend sessions, complete assignments and assessments on time, & maintain professional conduct.
- You must not:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, misuse anyone’s rights, or misuse your access.
- Submit false, plagiarised, or misleading work.
- Use another person’s identity or share your login credentials.
- Disrupt any sessions or interfere with other learners’ use of the Services.
- We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access for misconduct.
Certificates & Credentials
- After successful completion of all required modules and assessments, you may be awarded a certificate or credential as mentioned in the Course brochure.
- Award of a certificate is subject to payment of all fees and compliance with all requirements.
- We may revoke the certification if we find any misconduct (eg, cheating, plagiarism).
Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, we provide our Services “as is” and make no specific guarantees about outcomes (for example, job placement, income increase, exam success).
- We will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss, damage, expense, or cost (including profit) that you may come across associated with your participation or use of the Services. This is not applicable in cases of our proven gross negligence or misconduct.
- Nothing in these Terms will limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Suspension, Termination, & Withdrawal
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, cancel your enrolment, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms,
- You may withdraw from a Course in accordance with our withdrawal policy (if any). However, withdrawal does not automatically entitle you to a refund unless specifically stated.
- After termination or expiry, you must stop the use of the Services and Materials, delete any copies of Materials if require, and your rights to access will end.
Changes to Terms
- We have the right to modify or replace these Terms at our decision. If changes are material, we will use reasonable efforts to inform you (via email or website) before the change comes into effect.
- Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect indicated that you accepted the updated terms.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms will be governed by and construed with respect to the laws of India.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms or your participation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the respective Stage or as mutually agreed.
- If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, it shall be cut off and the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
Miscellaneous
- These Terms, together with any policies we provide (e.g., refund policy, privacy policy, code of conduct) constitute the entire agreement between you & us relating to the Services, replacing any prior correspondence or understanding.
- A failure by us to enforce any right or provision under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign or transfer our rights without restrictions.
